Maybe, there are some of you who still don't know what blogging is all about, and still wondering what a blog is. I’ll try to explain little about what a blog means.
Blog (abbreviation for Weblog) is a type of a mini-website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order.
Blog are designed to work automatically and easily to be operated on. If you could create an email account for yourself, then creating a blog will be a breeze as well. 2. How to make a blog?
You can find a lot of free blog provider on the internet, but I use and will always recommend http://www.blogger.com, because of its flexibilty and ease for a newbie.
Therefore, in this tutorial, we're going to be using blogger.com.

Follow the instructions below to continue your blog creation.
- Click an arrow sign, inscribed with “CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW”
- Complete the ‘e-mail address’ form, with your own e-mail address (of course with the valid one). You can use gmail or yahoo.
- Re enter your e-mail address in the space for ‘retype e-mail address’
- Type the password as you wanted to. It should be up to 8 characters.
- Retype your password.
- Type the word which has shown, in form ‘word verification’. Click the white little square beside the sentence, ‘I accept the Terms of Service’.
- Click an arrow sign inscribed with “CONTINUE”
- Write the title of your blog that you desire (you can change it later) in form ‘Blog Title’. This is the title that appears on top of your blog. Mine is MAKE MONEY ONLINE IN NIGERIA | ONLINE CASH NIGERIA
- Choose your blog url. And test if it's available. Choose a word that relates to what you wish to write about on your blog. For example, if ou wish to provide employment information on your blog, you can use employment-opportunities-nigeria.blogspot.com
- Type verification word which shown in form ‘word verification’. After that, click an arrow image inscribed with word, ‘CONTINUE’.
- Choose one template that you wanted to (We will change this later to look good like mine), then click again on arrow sign inscribed with word ‘CONTINUE’.
- Wait a moment. You'll see ‘Your blog has been created’. Click on arrow sign (again) which is inscribed with “BEGIN POSTING’.
Once you have made your first post, click on PUBLISH YOUR POSTING’.

MAKING YOUR BLOG SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY
If you want your blog to be listed in Google, you must do edit some settings. This is how to do it:
- Login to Blogger.com with your ID.
- Click on Setting and then click Basic.Then follow the below steps
- Title : Example: HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE IN NIGERIA | ONLINE CASH NIGERIA
- Description :You can leave this empty or put anything you wish
- Add your blog to our listing : choose Yes, so that every time you post, it will entered the Blogger.com list.
- Show Quick Editing on your blog : Choose Yes.
- Show Email post link : It is best to choose Yes, but if you chose No also it's not bad.
- Show compose Mode for all your blog : Choose Yes.
- Show transliteration button for your post : choose NO
- Click Save Settings.
- Finish.
- Click Publishing to arrange the publishing menu.
- Blogspot Address : Content with your blog address. You may have done this already.
- Send Pings : Choose Yes.
- Click Save Settings.
- Finish.
- Click Formatting to arrange the formatting menu.
- Show : Choose the number of post you want to display in your blog front page.
- Date header Format : Choose the style of date/month you want, this date/month will display above your post.
- Archive Index Date Format : Choose the style of your archive
- Timestamp Format : Choose the style of the time you wanted.
- Time Zone : Choose the matching zone with Nigeria.
- Language : Choose English
- Convert line break : Choose Yes.
- Show Link Field : Choose No.
- Enable Float aligment : Choose Yes.
- Click Save Settings.
- Finish.
- Click Comment to arrange the Comment menu.
- Comments : Choose Show if you want visitors to add comments on your blog.
- Who Comment? Choose Anyone. It's means anyone can add comments to your post.
- Comments Default for Post : Choose New post Have Comments
- Back links : Chose Show. It's means you will know if another people has linked to your post.
- Backlinks default for Posts : Choose New post have Backlinks.
- Show comments in a popup window? : Choose Yes
- Show word verification for comments? : It's better to choose Yes
- Enable comment moderation? : Choose No.
- Show profile images on comments? : Choose Yes. It's means the photo of commentator of blogger member can display.
- Comment Notification Address : Content with your email address.
- Click SAVE SETTINGS.
- Finish.
- Click ARCHIVING to arrange the archiving menu.
- Archive Frequency : Choose weekly.
- enable Post Pages? : Choose Yes.
- Click SAVE SETTINGS.
- Finish.
- Once you get here, you can heave a sigh of relieve as the job is half done.
